Dr. Soja Soman
Research Associate

Soja is a research associate with more than eight years of post-doctoral R&D experience in life science, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors. She has expertise in molecular biology, mitochondrial biology, genomics, drug screening, molecular diagnostics, immunology, metabolic diseases, animal studies, and laboratory quality control.
Dr. Mano Govindharaj
Post-doctoral Associate

Mano is a post-doctoral scholar with expertise in marine biotechnology, biomaterials and bioprinting. Prior to joining the Vijay Lab, he was a post-doctoral fellow at Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad under the National Post-doctoral fellowship program.

Mr. Jiarui Zhou
PhD Student

Jiarui has an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Nottingham. He joined the Vijay Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi in Fall 2020 to pursue his PhD.
Mr. Susheem Kanwar
PhD Student
​
Susheem has an M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi Technological University and had done his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal University. He joined the Vijay Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi in Fall 2020 to pursue his PhD.

Ms. Noura Sayed Al Hashimi

Noura had done her M.Sc. in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering at University College London (UCL) and B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Khalifa University of Science and Technology. She joined the Vijay Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi under the NYUAD Kawader Research Assistantship Program.
